AIT to Hold ‘Sell to Government e-Market Place’ Webinar in Association with GeM

The webinar will witness onboarding of association members to the GeM portal to boost their business across India.

Bengaluru based AIT (Association for Information Technology), in association with GeM (Government for e-Marketplace), will be organizing an interactive webinar for its members on the 14th of August, Friday. The webinar that will commence at 3 p.m, will help members of the association to onboard to the GeM portal to boost their businesses pan India. The webinar will also help association members to gain an understanding of how to sell to the State Government, Central Government, and Public Sector Units.

The key speaker for the webinar will be Sanjay Joseph, Deputy CEO at GeM and Head-Training and State Nodal Officer for Karanataka. On the other hand,  seller onboarding will be carried out by Gowtama H.S., Regional Business Facilitator & Master Trainer for Karnataka and Goa. The webinar will also witness the presence of Ketan B Shah, President AIT, and other key members.

It must be noted that GeM is a national public procurement portal that facilitates the Central and the State government organizations to procure all goods & services online. AIT in partnership with GeM will not only enable its members to onboard to the portal but also help them to understand how to conduct faceless, paperless, and online business offered by the Government of India. GeM aims to change how procurement of common goods & services is carried out by the government-owned departments and ministries.

Through the Sell to Government e-Marketplace, IT sellers will also be able to directly access all the government departments and use the one-stop destination for marketing their products with minimal efforts. The GeM platform also provides sellers with seller-friendly dashboards for selling as well as monitoring of different supplies and their payments.

AIT-Bengaluru is a two-decade-old association with more than 350 member companies who focus on IT hardware business, alongside distribution as well as sub-distribution. The association members comprise of IT Retail companies, System Integrators, Software resellers, and IT Networking & Infrastructure providers.
