     Should Your Business

Go On-Premises Or Tap Into Cloud Storage?

In response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine,
sanctions by the United States and its allies were

issued that further caused several multinational
companies to cease business activity in Russia.
This includes tech giants like Microsoft, Intel,
Sony, Qualcomm and others such as IBM and
     Google.

This scenario, however, suggests that firms in
Russia that have completely adopted the Cloud
model might find themselves in a bind. Many
business leaders who have switched to Cloud
Storage believe that they are not at fault

because their businesses have ground to a halt.
Given the challenges, it has sparked a debate
between using on-premises solutions or tapping
into cloud solutions for businesses. There are

pros and cons to both approaches.
On-premises solutions offer more control over

data and security, but they can be more
expensive to maintain. Cloud solutions are often
more affordable, but there may be less control
over data and security. Ultimately, the decision
     between on-premises and cloud solutions
depends on the specific needs of the business.

Our special feature here is an interview with
influential figures who delve deeper into whether
or not there are any notable differences between
     on-premise and cloud-based storage. We'll also

discover what these professionals think about
the challenges that abound in the on-prem and
cloud environment, their predictions for the
overall storage market, and ways to avoid
     security threats.
