DTM: What is the scope of SD-Wan and the need for securing SD-Wan enabled

architecture?

Gurinder: SD-Wan plays an important role in the overall SASE strategy for the customer by

providing clean and fast connectivity to enterprises for connection to business and SAAS
applications. SSE partners can also connect directly to existing SD-WAN vendors through
IPSEC/GRE or client-based approach to provide security scanning, data loss prevention, and

advanced security scanning like UEBA.

DTM: How can channel partners help enterprises adopt the SSE model?

Gurinder: Channel can play a crucial part in driving the SSE model by guiding the customers to
take the SSE journey in a phased manner, while keeping the maturity of their existing deployment
in mind. They can assist in stepwise phasing out the old as well as seeding the new platform-

centric solution with zero trust principles in play.
