        Indian  Healthcare  Industry  saw  about  1.9  million
        C y b e r a t t a c k s   i n   2 0 2 2 .   A   f e w   e x a m p l e s   a r e :

          A hospital in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, suffered a data breach
          where  Cybercriminals  leaked  1.5  L  patients'  data  on

          Telegram.
          The Cyberattack on the All India Institute of Medical

          Sciences  (AIIMS) New Delhi paralyzed their 5 Servers
          and was made unavailable for almost 15 days. This data
          breach compromised millions of patients' information.
          This was one of the biggest cyberattacks in India in 2022.

                                                         In 2022, Indian Pharma companies were highly prone to
                                                         Cyberattacks leading to Data Breaches.

                                                            IPCA  Laboratories  suffered  a  Ransomware  attack
                                                            launched by a Cybercrime and Extortion group called
                                                            RansomHouse. The group claimed to have stolen 500
                                                            GB  of  data  from  its  systems.  Since  the  ransom
                                                            demanded  was  not  paid,  140GB  of  data  about
                                                            employee  records,  formulation  &  research  data,  and
                                                            financial & audit reports were leaked.

                                                            Aarti Drugs Ltd. suffered a data breach by the BianLian
                                                            Ransomware group. They paid a ransom of about Rs.
                                                            15.8L, and yet the Cybercriminals leaked around 6GB of
                                                            data on the dark web.


       Oil & Gas, Energy


        The  following  industries  suffered  from  Cyberattacks  as
        their Critical Infrastructure was targeted.
        Oil India Ltd in Assam suffered a :
          Cyberattack in which their facility's IT systems, network,
          server,  and  clients'  PCs  faced  a  network  outage.  The
          Cybercriminals demanded Rs. 57 Cr as a ransom.

          Mumbai-based  power  generation  company  Tata
          Power suffered from a severe and massive data breach
          in  Oct  2022.  The  Ransomware  attack  impacted  their
          critical infrastructure, and the Hive Ransomware gang,
          which took responsibility, leaked essential data on the
          dark web.
